Treadmill in Transit Car?

This might be a funny question, but do you guys think a treadmill will fit in a Tranit car (Vauxhall Astravan, Ford Transit etc)?

Thanks

Re: Treadmill in Transit Car?

I know we're trying to be energy efficient these days but a treadmill powered transit isn't going to catch on

LOL, I want to deliver it to an address. I tried a courier service but I have been quoted £150 (from London to Manchester). I happen to have a Vauxhall Astravan, so wanted to know will the treadmill fit or will it be too big.

Re: Treadmill in Transit Car?

I think maybe you would need to give some idea of the size and weight of the treadmill and whether it could be partly dismantled.

Yes, it can partly be deassembled. The length = 70 inches

width = 26 inches

I have the latest version of the Astravan car.

Anyone know a courier service who will deliver it much cheaper than £150 ?

Re: Treadmill in Transit Car?

If your van is listed on the following site you can see the load space available in the specifications. I hope this helps.

The length of the loadspace is 71.8 inches and the treadmill is 70 inches, so it will just about fit.

Thanks
