Moving a virgin multiroom box to another address

just wondering if someone could help me. i've decided to get virgin tv installed with an additional box in another room. my brother lives a few doors away and was wondering that if i ordered another box for another room, could he move it to his house? it must have had virgin installed before as all the cables r still there? can you simply just connect the additional box to the virgin cable in the other house and receive the channels? im intending to subscribe to the xl package with movies and sports

Re: Moving a virgin multiroom box to another address

What you're suggesting would be against the terms and conditions which state any equipment can only be used in the address it's subscribed to.

Re: Moving a virgin multiroom box to another address

That would be against virgins terms and conditions and is classed as theft

Re: Moving a virgin multiroom box to another address

I doubt it would even work anyway, unless you were planning on trailing the coax from a splitter in your house all the way you brothers
