Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Craig Bellamy has joined Championship side Cardiff City on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City.
Bet he has put their wage bill up considerably, if he can help them get up it'll be inspired more likely imo though he'll get injured a month or two in and end up costing them a fortune they dont have.

It wouldn't surprise me if Citeh were still paying most of his wages while he's on loan. They seem to want to avoid sending him on loan to a Premier League club. And it's not like they don't have the resources.

Doesn't the original club pay the wages whilst you are on loan? I thought that was the case.

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Its entirely down to what deals the chairmen do.
When O'Hara was at Pompey he was the only player there paid on time as we paid his wages. When Keane went to Celtic they picked up a "significant" proportion of his wages.
I'm guessing its free. Citeh don't need the money and Cardiff don't have any anyway.
BTW Bellamy is on stupid wages. Only Citeh would pay them (£95,000 a week)

There's no way Cardiff will be able to afford anything close to his wages, especially with a new (inferior) stadium to pay for. Don't forget they came close to administration last season over unpaid tax, hence us Swansea fans chanting at them, "You can't pay your tax and you'll never beat the Jacks". Word is some local businesses have helped pay his wage.
On another note, I've said it before and I'll say it again, what a waste.

No Punky is right it's down to what ever deal they cobble together, some times there is a loan fee involved as well.

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Poor Bellamy relegated to the Championship. and really poor of Man****** to not sell him off to any other club really.
Hope he does well for Cardiff as he is a good player.
