using a dvd0 sd scaler

anyone out there using or have used a dvdo upscaler or something similar
the supposed sd upscaling hey looks good but also the added hdmi slots would be good as my tv has three and i really need to use 5 to get the best out of my system.
the only problem is they are quite expensive so a little insight from those that know would be great
cheers

Re: using a dvd0 sd scaler

I assume your on about a DVD upscaler? If so yes they do work reasonably well but like all things if the source is poor the the upscaling will be poor, but would still be an improvement over the SD source.

We have a Toshiba XDE600 in the bedroom which performs extremely well as a DVD upscaler & DiVX decoder too.

Edit**
Just googled dvdo, so mis-understood your Q My bad & I have no experience with these so ignore my comment
