Recording Buffer

I've had V+HD installed for 2 weeks now and am impressed, the SD channels are really clear and sharp and the HD channels are easily as good as my friend's Sky HD. I set the recording buffer for 2 minutes before and 5 after, however i recorded 2 programs that were on at the same time but i got both with the exact time and no buffer. Have i done something wrong or missed a step?.
Thanks.

Did you have something set to record straight after the end of those show. If there's a recording clash the padding gets cut.

Hi I asked this question a few months ago on the V+ section of this forum and was told it was a well known bug, all I can suggest in the meantime to be sure of extra recording is set a manual record for both programmes if they start at the same time.

Re: Recording Buffer

Thanks. I've recorded lots of things and this is the only time it's happened..i'll do as you suggest and do the manual padding. Does anyone know if they are working on a bug fix or do we just have to put up with it?.
