Looking at the normal vip with xl phone and adding the 3 rd box to that and the hd sub think i am being duped a bit.Am i paying more for less?.The reason i ask is i have just come off the phone and was quoted £120 for the vip 20 plus the 3rd box and the hd sports and movies.

Re: Comparing my services too vip

To the VIP price of £89.50, you would have to add the £5 handling charge, the SkyHD £7 and the third box £5.50, making £107.

You are paying slightly more for slightly less.

You would actually be better going for VIP50 with an extra box.

VIP50 is £97.50 plus your £5 handling charge and your £5.50 extra box, makes £108.

You get the 50Mb BB included but would have to pay for activation at £20 and maybe installation at £35 for the new modem.

Because the Hub you've got is only for XL and below

There is going to be a seperate Docsis 3 Hub for XXL and above released later on this year

Unfortunately Docsis 3 kit is too expensive still to provider on tiers that don't need it

£5 a month is a hell of a sum for not paying by direct debit. Definite saving for you there if your personal circumstances allow.

It was just something never got round to sorting out before we upgrade to the XL broadband we did get a discount of that off £3.95 but it vanished when we upgraded the broadband.
