Sky Sports News / SSN HD
Hiya will non sky sports subscribers lose SSN when it turns HD on the 23rd?

As its leaving freeview and turning HD but nothing about Virgin tv ?

not as far as i am aware

they are removign it for freeview to launch another channel on freeview

They're removing it from Freeview as part of a big 'fook-you!' to BT and by proxy, Freeview.

Their replacing SSN on Freeview with the totally awesome and much valued Sky 3 +1.

Virgin keep the standard SD Sky Sports News. SSN HD is exclusive to Sky alongside Sky Sports HD 3 & HD 4.

Not official Sky Sports News HD can still be part of the Sky HD package that VM/Sky have agreed to - SSNEWs HD is a non prem channel and is under the basic HD Sub and News.

Its a matter of when not if.

Sky Sport 3/4 is a complete different ball game that was not part of the deal.
