sky sports news is exactly that, sports shown on sky.

its basically a barker channel for their own product.

having said that if you do watch it regularly the quality on SD is atrocious so it may useful to some.

Got to laugh,When they were selling the VMTV to sky it was stated the relations between the two company`s were better and the enemy was freeview.First they had a dig at BT with pint glasses and now pizza slices with VM,It looks like the honeymoon period is over lol

I realise the answer to this will probably be just wait and see, but do you mean that the VIP package will include TIVO or I would get one if I Upgrade I only ask as I am already on VIP so should I downgrade (tempting considering the reduced levels of enhanced value recently) so that I can then upgrade again to get the TIVO box.

I think it's just good competition... they do have a common enemy in Freeview and Freesat, so in thoses areas will work "together".

They will never be bedfellows, but at least they seem to have dialogue

Will Premier Sports ever turn up on VM? It would be a welcome addition for me, but i must admit i would not pay extra for it

I couldn't see VM adding it to XL, It's too much of a niche channel. i'm sure some customers would sub to it though.

Its a shame for this channel, sky have already done a number on it by taking the plum nrl games away from it this year, its just not worth paying for without the nrl final

Am I mistaken or has the sky sports HD channels moved up one figure on the EPG, I thought they were on 516/517 and now they are 517/518, making room for sky sports news pehaps.

Hi, no they haven't moved they have been on 517/518 since they became available last week.

Could have sworn they had moved , must be old age catching up, I know the channel line up fot HD sports was off air yesterday and incorrect channel came up.
