Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Two happy thoughts.
1) Apple have confirmed my router is both broken (not that I expected it to suddenly work) and covered by their recall. They have offered to replace it, but have none in stock ATM..
2) You may remember a couple of years back, I posted that the guy who lives opposite liked to park outside anyone's house but his own (OK, he has a car and a van, but he also has a garage that could be cleared out, and space outside his own house). I also posted that while him doing that is inconvenient for me (I don't drive, but its nice to allow parking for visitors), our neighbours have a wheelchair bound grandson, so they *need* the space outside the house clear.
Well, they finally complained to the council, who have responded by putting a disabled parking bay outside their house. The guy opposite is not happy.

I am downstairs sat on the couch. Might not sound much of an achievement but it has made me very happy.

Thank goodness Tinky. It seems to have taken ages this time but at least I now have the energy to come downstairs and all without the benefit of a transfusion. Yay.

Also a brand of condom - I remember the ads from the 80's/90's; "Real men come in a Jiffi".

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Just finished work, after 12 hours in the office.
Why is that a happy thought?
Because I was tidying everything up / handing over to others, because after 6:30pm tomorrow, I am on annual leave for three weeks.
And to make it better, for my last day at work tomorrow, I will be hosting a table at the Pakistan vs Australia cricket international at Headingley - what an excellent way to finish a very hard couple of months.
