Thank you all for the quick replies. My mother in law is staying with us and she only speaks spanish and it is a bit slow explaining everything to her so i thought if i could change the subtitles it would be easier but unfortunately it doesnt seem possible. But thanks for an answer all

It would all depend on the television company supplying the programme.
I think the only broadcaster offering more than one language is EuroNews (Ch 620).
To change the language there - press the red button and select Spanish.
