Lookign for a new PC around £500-£600
Hi
Currently I have a Dell Dimension 3100 (P4, 2Gig, 80hd +320Gig HDD), I've had this machine for about 4 years now and thought it maybe time to upgrade as I have maxed out the specs.
I'm not a gamer(well not on PC I prefer my xbox) but do like to do a bit of photo/video editing, emails, surfing etc.
Any recommendations.

Mesh builds 'can' be quite good, just pray to God that you never get a problem with it. Personally because of the amount of stress and hassle I've had from them, I'd say avoid like the plague.

Image is too large and doesn't help much as it's in $

Aldi have got a bloody nice computer in on Thursday for £429.99, if I was in the market for a new computer I know I'd buy it http://aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/spe...uys3_14867.htm

So? Its roughly the same price over here as parts are more expensive and the exchange rate from $>£ has changed from 2-1

I'm happy with my mesh I got a few years ago, a hard drive went wrong after a bit less than a year and they couriered me a new one when i sent them the faulty one.

Re: Lookign for a new PC around £500-£600
you can save 50 quid to go towards your OS by using a 5670 instead of the 5770 as a none gamer that will do nicely
You would also be better off with a modular PSU to aid in cable management
