That's a guest blog, and they are recommendations from someone who has no connection to the BBC at all, as such it's pretty much the same as me saying "The BBC should launch a super HD 3D channel next year!" neither has any effect on what the BBC will actually do.

Yeah HD should become the standard around 2012. Most people should have HD tvs by then. If you haven't got a HD TV by now your sad!!

I havn't got a HD tv, i wouldnt call myself sad, just dont watch enough TV, to warrent replacing a perfectly working, LCD one at the moment, the next TV i own will be a hd one though. but to asume everyone who has not got HD is sad, is well, a bit sad

Doubt that's true cause if you have a multiroom sub it just mirrors your subscription so I really really doubt a per box fee would be applied to access the HD channels

Yeah, plus the £10 multiroom fee as well. So it would be £Sub + £10 per box multiroom + £10 per box with HD subscription
