The price changes Virgin announced last week aren't directly connected to the OFCOM ruling - which only concerned SS 1 & 2 and made no ruling on the Movies

From a VM source but not official yet.

XL/VIP customer will benefit from the Sky Sports and Movies saving that M+ and L customer will see from 1st July.

Sky's Basic and Sports & Movies HD channels will be included in the XL price. (Sports & Movies HD channels subject in taking these packages)

So XL/VIP customers will not have to pay for the coming soon HD channels.

customer who are on M+ and L who do subscribe to Sports & Movies SD will have to upgrade to XL to receive Sports 1&2 and All Movie HD channels.

As in no extra charge to XL package for sport and movies channels??...That can't be right.

It will probs be at least £20 extra on top of your XL subscription for sports channels both in SD and HD.

I think that Big red means that if you are on XL and already subscribe to Sports and Movies you will get the Sports and Movies HD Channels. Would be good if that turns out to be true.

That would be awsome,I only got movies at min and if that happens will add sports straight away,It would then continue the no extra charge for HD campaign.Fingers crossed thats the way its going
