Sorry, but that is just naive.. You are assuming that VM (and in it's previous guises, NTL and Telewest) offered perfect service to their customers. They didn't. No company does.
Not everyone who has a complaint about the service they have received is obtaining services fraudulently.

Well, the new modem technologies they are working on will kaput your modem soon enough and the new STB Smartcards will kaput your stolen television services. Sorry for your losses. Ben.

As said my TV Services has gone (the unpaid ones) has anyway,
But i still have XL-BB Running downstairs (paid for) and upstairs (FREE)
There will be a mod for Nagra 3 anyway soon enough its NOT like we wern't expecting it

Why don't you just invest in a router and share your XL, what's the point in stealing your own bandwidth by running a cloned modem
