Staff spilling out of the No. 11 front door to watch. Stuff this, I'm off to watch the telly. See you later, once we have a true blue in the PM's chair.

Re: 2010 General Election: The Cable Forum Exit Poll
That's that.
Much as I dislike his judgement and think he failed in the job he has still been a PM so deserves grudging respect. His resignation speech was dignified and honest, it was good to hear something more human from the man and immediately brought him up in my judgement.
Next victim *ahem* Prime Minister please!

Right, Nick Clegg hasn't done anything to be judged on so far, but he's Cameron's bitch already? That just about sums up what's wrong in British politics imo. This tribalism is pointless and counterproductive.

Re: 2010 General Election: The Cable Forum Exit Poll
Nice speech from Brown. Regardless of what you think about any Prime Minster I think you need to respect the office and the service of each person who has sat in it. It was nice to see him applauded by some of the press outside as well, like it was when Blair was by the commons.

Re: 2010 General Election: The Cable Forum Exit Poll
Cameron will do as all previous tory prime ministers have done before him, he will screw us into the ground in revenge for them not being in power since 1997, and many of them will be baying for blood because of 1997.
Anything that can be sold off will be and most of Cameron's ex school mates will be in his cabinet ( apart from a few positions for Clegg and company ),and not a one will have a grasp on reality with regards to the oiks who were foolish enough to tug their forelocks and vote for them.
