Wireless connection help.

I have a problem, I've got a new laptop Windows 7. Before the laptop I had a PC which I used to config my router settings.

Since Ive been using the laptop I wanted to use the WEP connection so I did what I normally did when I used the PC to get the WEP connection and play my PSP, PS3 online etc..

So now, when I use the laptop to try and get WEP connection instead of WAP because for some reason it doesnt connect to the PSP only when I used the WEP connection.

When I tried to change the settings from my laptop the connection always times out and have to reset the router to go back to the normal connection.

Does anybody know how I can use the WEP in Windows 7, I've tried many things, thanks for reading

Re: Wireless connection help.

Upgrade the firmware on your PSP, only supporting WEP from what I have read is due to using outdated firmware. You really do not want to use WEP on a home network it's so full of holes your next door neighbours child could break into it.

Re: Wireless connection help.

Your PSP must support "WPA-PSK [TKIP]" as my router is using it, and i access the web via my PSP on it.
