I have a friend who cut off the legs and drilled a hole in his first CPU to use as a keyring (Also a K6-2). He still has it now.

Wouldn't that be something to do with the power socket on the laptop then if it is now on its 5th charger?

Re: How many PCs does your household have?
1 'business' desktop for email and serious stuff
1 'gaming' desktop
1 'sacrificial' desktop for customer repair/cloning/cleaning work.
1 HP server ML310 for FTP and occasional gameservers.
1 elderly Dell laptop that bumps around in the car for site work.
and enough sprawling untidy boxes of bits for my partner to give me a lot of grief..
