Re: The BNP is finished ?
of course its not the end.
They have not been forced to change their actual policies but rather just their membership rules.
I dont expect many people joining them from ethnic minorities anyway.

Re: The BNP is finished ?
The BNP's new constitution has just been published - a right riveting read at 92 pages.
I found this part, at the bottom of the page announcing its publication, amusing.
Quote:
The new constitution may be downloaded by clicking on the link below.
Please note that this document is copyrighted 2010 by the British National Party Trustees. All rights are reserved by the publishers, British National Party Publications.
Each individual member of the British National Party has a non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to download one copy of the 12.2 edition of the constitution of the British National Party.
All other persons, media or institutions may apply in writing for permission to download the new constitution to: P O Box 14, Welshpool, Powys, SY21 0WE. Download licences and associated fees will be provided upon receipt of such written requests.
Please note that readers will need a password to open the PDF file. The password is BNPNEW which should be typed in exactly that format.
|
Not a lot of point in password protecting a document, if you put the password on the same page as the link (imho).
In the PDF it states (on the copyright page) that if you want to download the document, you have to apply to Nick Griffin to purchase a licence to do so. But you have to download the document to find that out..... (re Nick Griffin, not the address)
(Oh, and some people want to trust these people with the economy - the second page of the PDF says "Page 1 of 92" and the final page says "Page 91 of 92" )

Re: The BNP is finished ?
Quote:
“Due to the fact that there are only 27 days left to the election, it is not possible to provide a complete review of the constitution and its status at this time,” Mr Griffin said.
“There will be time enough to go into the details and debate it fully after the election. Questions and queries posted on the website will be studied and responded to in due course,” he said.
|
Yes well..
Quote:
“Our new constitution retains our old constitution’s principles as far as they have been permitted by the establishment’s persecution.
“A substantial part of the new constitution deals with the mechanism which will provide us with the ability to effectively deal with any new attacks.
“The BNP will now be able to deal with almost any attack upon it or its constitution. We are able to respond either with justifiable legal aggression or with a light and lenient touch, as we find necessary.

So what's changed?
Oh well at least it has provided some levity..

It's extremely funny though (but also depressing), due to the Group members' complete & utter lack of basic English themselves. Check it out. The non-Brits at my work (4x Polish, 1x Romanian, 1x Chinese) all have far superior English skills to the people posting on the FB Group.

Re: The BNP is finished ?
Matt your workmates may speak good english.
In the area I live in there is people regurly out and about who cant speak english or speak it very poorly. The fact people migrate to this country and then dont speak the language is a serious problem. The problem of immigration tho is if you dont live in an area that the bulk migrate to then you cannot respect the impact of the problem, since immigrants tend to crowd specific areas rather than spread out evenly.

I've seen a lot of that sort of thing in most of Cable Forum's resident BNP supporters too. Must be a pattern emerging...

Re: The BNP is finished ?
OK just a small point but I do find it irritating when people use the word English with a small e.
Be proud of the word, it deserves that capital letter.
