Re: Formula 1 2010 Season [may contain real time spoilers]
Really really bad calls by Mclaren and Ferrari to not send their drivers out for a banker lap. These are supposed to be 2 of the best teams out there yet they make a fundamental mistake like this
Fair enough Lewis could and should have made it through if he hadn`t had that last corner moment but still you have to question the logic that was used. It was only qualie 1 for pete`s sake, after last year you would have thought they might have learned a thing or 2...........It seems not
Awesome lap by Webber, fully deserved pole

agree big mistake from both the top teams and they did it with BOTH cars FFS.
Lets hope they can have storming drives through the field and we get some decent racing because of this.
Rosberg again beat Schumacher even in the rain which either means Rosberg is great or Schumacher is rubbish and still finding his feet

I think there was a quote during qualie (not 100% i was still ) about Nikki Lauda winning his third race after coming back. Schumacher must still be getting to grips with the new cars, what with not much testing etc.
Plus Rosberg has allways been pretty quick, just never had the right tools
Actually no i think your right, Schumacher is rubbish!
Please everyone do a rain-dance tonight (in Malaysia`s direction obviously)

the quote was wrong as Legard said this was in 84 which was when he won the title for the third time and a few seasons into his comeback. It was 82 he won is third race.
Think the jury is still out on MS

45 minutes till the start, any predictions??
I think that redbull could actually have thier first win this season if it's a totally dry race, otherwise Kubica if it's wet..

On a lighter note
My wife & I were having a conversation yesterday about DC & his white jeans. I said yesterday "you watch EJ will be wearing them tomorrow as they have one pair between the 2 of them" and low & behold today its EJ's turn

LOL.. I feel the same about Jenson, but in the end it's how they perform on track

Fair enuff
Quick question(sort of), do you think that Alonso stressed the car too much, taking into account the problem that he knew it had, do you think he could have managed it better?

Re: Formula 1 2010 Season [may contain real time spoilers]
I think it's a fine line between keeping his position and managing his engine all compounded due to the problem.. The final fault he simply could not have known and if he had nursed his engine would he have even been in the points???

Re: Formula 1 2010 Season [may contain real time spoilers]
I don`t think it was wise of Alonso to make a move like he did when you have downshift problems. Maybe the team told him it was going so he thought why not, i reckon he should have just held station behind Button and if he made a mistake take the place.
Maybe the stress put on the engine braking so late, coupled with the downshift problem caused something to pop that wouldn`t have done otherwise. You never know, at the end of the season a couple of points could make all the difference
Red- Bull where in a class of there own , congrats to Vettel, Webber, and Rosberg for there podiums

Those who don't take risks don't win
Mind you that's not the only thing that helps you win.. Look at MS, boring a driver as you can find but he didn't make mistakes and as such won
