None of the losses included paying back any of the debt which has continued to increase and now the debt payments are increasing. It's a joke. How the FA ever let those morons take over the club is beyond me.

Man U FL PLC are a public company trading on the stock market. ANYONE can take them over and the FA can't do a thing about it.
I blame Edwards who never really wanted the club in the first place

He has done nothing illegel so they can't stop him buying the club on those grounds. Unless they setup a licencing system whereby clubs have to have no debt to enter the league, which wouldn't be a bad thing, then I can't see anything the FA can do

Wonderful play by Munich, excellent. I was very surprised and I have not seen United look so lost and ordinary in ages, probably not since the Champions League Final last year. They just did not have the fight or control you expect. It was a deserved result.

Let's see what the news on Rooney is.

Fergie looks shell shocked.

United will still go though anyway. I suspect we will get the 'Club X in Crisis' stories tomorrow regardless.

I thought they were very average, we were just worse. I didn't see this great Ribery everyone is on about who supposedly is worth nearly as much as Ronaldo. I think he beat Neville for pace just once in the entire match, that says it all. If we pull ourselves together we should be alright at OT, hopefully they will try and sit back and with their poor defence we should be able to get a few. Not too bad a result considering how we played.

True. I think it's uncommon to see United play so badly and hence presumed Munich were playing really well.

Despite the impression people seem to have they are not a one man team. In recent games Rooney has dominated the headlines but performances from Nani, Berbatov and Park have had bigger effects on the game (mostly thinking of Fulham and Liverpool here). They should be fine.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
I don't care what anyone says, Rooney has to stop diving like a woose, he ran into the box and just dived, disgusting.
United were not at the best tonight, it was cracking game, and the best team won on the night, and if Utd play like that at OT, they will go out.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
How have Barca not scored yet?
I checked after 20 minutes, they had 75% possesion and 9 shots to Arsenals 1, away from home thats incredible. They're giving the gooners a masterclass in football.

1-0 now.
On this form the cup is theirs to lose.

2-0 now, they might as well give them the trophy, Messi has hardly been in the game and they're still walking it.

Kinda knew it would be a cause too far if Barcelona brought their A game.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
Fair play to Arsenal getting back into it, but that was never a penalty.
