Is it just me or is Lewis Hamilton coming across as petulant, arrogant and immature lately. He seems to wan`t to blame this and that all the time rather than just knuckling down and doing the job.

Fixed the tyre change choice for ya
As for Hamilton you can't realy blame him, Mclaren brought him in for the 2nd stop and Lewis was under the impression that everyone would be making a 2nd stop, hence his query over the radio

I thought it was Button who made the decision for the tyre change

The driver can't make the final choice, he puts forward his choice and the team boss OK's the decision or not.. Hence in this case it was a late decision

But he decided the tire change even if he did need permission?

Officially no You know what I mean, he can't decide that he will get tyres, otherwise we might as well sack the team bosses and tacticians

Re: Formula 1 2010 Season [may contain real time spoilers]
Well Martin Whitmarsh said that it was Jenson's choice, so Jenson's choice it was. Putting it any other way is just semantics . Also he didn't decide he was going to get tyres, he merely decided when he wanted them, added to the fact he/everybody started on intermediates only he would know if the combination of track condition and his own driving style at a given point would be compatible with slick tyres.
As to Hamilton, I would agree that he seems to have developed his arrogant streak more, I put it like that as IMHO he's always had it. It's just with his dad not managing him anymore I get the feeling that there's nothing to supress it.
.........and when is Mark Webber going to learn to drive, or is he practicing for the kamekaze version of F1.
I'm just gratefull that Alonso showed himself up at the start, and that he didn't cause any damage to JB.

Quite funny really, wasnt Webber the GPDA rep? He was always going on about safety, yet his driving at times leaves a lot to be desired.
As for Jenson's early pit, he (Jenson) called it and team principle allowed it so its down to Jenson, an excellent call and he should and will get all credit for it (hopefully)
Also hats off to HRT & Chandhok, giving the new poor boys their first finish, be it 5 laps down, a great drive from Karun.

Well done Jensen, I am about to order some sauce for my hat, but I won't be eating it just yet; one win doesn't make a champion.
I don't blame Lewis for being royally pee'ed off. Screwed on strategy and shafted by Webber, not a great combination. That said, his performance up to then was exemplary. He clearly has the pace and drive to achieve his goals this season.
What a great race as a whole, even after the wet start, the pressure stayed on for the top ten. It has been a long time since we have seen so much overtaking. As for Schumacher....oh dear!

Re: Formula 1 2010 Season [may contain real time spoilers]
schumacher actually was still overtaking people when the others were not
not bad as he came out worst from the initial crash and did the test tire change for the team and everyone else
but again with out the rain it wouldn't have been much different to last time as as the track dried the over taking dried up too

It shows though how the new regs can effect a race.. HAM, ROS, WEB all went for a third set of tyres and were effectively 2 secs a lap faster than MAS, ALO who stayed out... If WEB/HAM hadn't of had that coming together then I think that HAM would have had at least 3rd before the end of the race.

Hamilton overtaking to gain track position to fourth place, was quite a while after the track dried.

I totally agree, Lewis actually had a shot at second place (albeit an outside one) until Webber hit him. I wonder if there will be an inquiry?

Re: Formula 1 2010 Season [may contain real time spoilers]
Wasn't Webbers fault and Alonso had the racing line.. Just wrong place wrong time and Webber being on the blind side of hamilton to see what Alonso did
