You do have a right to moan like I do when I moan on and on about them not delivering vod to me and having to subsidise hd/espn with my subscription and I do feel your pain but this is probably the wrong topic and forum to express this.....maybe on the official virgin forum or even their twitter?
QUOTE]
100% agree, go to VM twitter page and post your moaning.
Only a small number will be effected the full 2 months but most will already have access on the 1st or within a month.
Post your moaning to VM and ask them when you will get there service.
End of the day your not paying a penny more for these new services.

So are you going to be all "British" about it and get shafted by it?
Why don't you contact them again and again until you get the result your after or failing that why don't you really stick it to them and move to another provider?

I didnt say he was antagonising me on purpose - dont put words into my mouth......
I dont use Twitter...
I will contact them more than once.... to give in and go to someone else is to entirely miss the point ... but you dont appear to want to see that.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Seems like Wolverhampton is always the last area for any changes that VM carry out

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
I was disappointed with this announcement too but lets look at the facts.
This has happened because VM are making network improvements. In future we will all be on the same hardware so this shouldn't happen again. It might have been better for VM to announce the new channels as coming in June rather than April but as most will get them in April anyway and we will all have them by June isn't it better to be patient and just enjoy them when they arrive.
BTW my area isn't ngtv yet and I have no idea when it will be.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
Word of advice to everyone that has already gone NGTV...
When the channels do launch dont go on about something like: "Eurosport HD officially launched" because it wont be official and you will just be mean and rubbing it in to the people who have not got this.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
does anyone know if Newton Abbot has been done yet?
I"m fairly new to this forum having just moved over from Sky.But have to say so far very impressed.Better SD quality on TV,no dish or cable wrapped around the outside of my house. All neat and tidy with Virgin and did exactly what I was looking for.
The new HD channels with be a major bonus and as long as I get ITV1 in HD by the time the world cup starts I"m happy.
Roll on Tivo

One point I forgot to mention is the sammy v+ looks a lot sexier than the Sky HD box.A neat bit of kit.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
I am amazed that they have upgraded the outskirts of Manchester to NGTV but the residents who actually live in Manchester have to wait. We always seem to be the last to get anything, is there someone in Virginmedia that dislikes MAnchester as it used to be one of the homes of NTL? lol

simple !!!
the broadcast from radio 5 live is direct from the match live.
live match - studio - aired
the broadcast of the match on sky sports on VM comes from the live broadcast via sky giving the lag.
live match - Sky studio - sky aired - VM headend in - VM headend out - aired.
as you can see there is alot more involved in getting the match to your tv than to your radio hence the delay.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
Plus, unless you have a digital radio, the analogue signal has less lag than digital so that is another factor
