Thumbs up Problem solved and cheers for all the suggestions

After many numerous attempts via the methods suggested which I am very thankful for I have now got Belkin to send me a replacement after I post the faulty one which im doing monday so problem solved in the end I guess

Once again though cheers to everyone who has helped out with their suggestions as a first time poster I was quite surprised by the response I got... cheers again

I am so glad Belkin still have the lifetime guarentee. In the past they'd take your word for it and send out a new one. But obviously times have changed.
