Good news about the new HD channels, two channels that I'd like to have.

Film4 normally has a 3 min ad break every 20 - 30 mins. I've recorded films in the small hours that have had just a single ad break in the whole film.
Personally, I don't mind them - they have to make money somehow and the V+ means I watch them at x32 speed anyway

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
Great news about more new HD channels although the more they add, the quicker the V+ hard drive fills up. VM really need to sort this on any new future equipment. I believe the american version of the TiVO does have a big hard drive but whether that comes over to the VM version remains to be seen.
Does anyone know if they are likely to increase the TV subs to pay for all this HD goodness? Apart from the annual increase in April of course.

Looking forward to E4 hd! I'm glad to see VM get film4hd as an exclusive as most people never even considered vm would create deals like Sky for HD channels that sky don't already have.

If true, that's daft as the opening round of MotoGP is the weekend prior!

I think More4 +1 will be coming to Virgin TV soon as part of the Channel 4 own HD Channels that Virgin has signs up for.
I have not seen any information about any more SD Channels coming.

Can you clarify Ben? Do you mean that E4HD and Film4 HD will not be exclusive to the XL pack?
