Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
I had my new cards today, and to be honest, there is no difference, apart from silly +channels, and what does this NGTV mean, and l for one would be glad if they got rid of that horrible black color on the guide.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
Media Boy joins NGTV tonight.
Look like it will be an late night for me tonight as Virgin Media are working on my local Headend tonight after midnight so when I see any signs of Magic 105.4 on my Box I will tell everyone on Cable Forum.

NGTV mean Virgin will add BBC Radio London and BBC Radio 4 LW plus BBC News Multiscreen to all Ex-ntl or Ex-CW viewers.
And Ex-Telewest will get 13 TV or Radio Channels (BBC Radio Scotland is one of them.)
Also Virgin will also post your new viewing card out to you after that.
Here is the list of areas who has been updated by Virgin Media so far - As of 24/02/10:
Barnsley
Derby
Edinburgh
Grimsby
Leeds
Leicester
Luton
Nottingham
Seven Kings
Southampton
Teesside
Watford

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
Just noticed today in Grimsby, that local news (Look North) is finally on channel 101, as it should be instead of 858. Before today, I got East Midlands Today on 101. Does this mean my Headend has been changed (not sure about the correct terminology)?

Yes - you will also see BBC Radio 4 LW (Channel 911) and BBC Radio London (Channel 937) on your box as well.
May I ask is Channel 858 still broadcasting?

Ah right, how long have you been waiting for the NGTV in your area since receiving the v4 and 3.7 updates?
