told him we'd got XL V+ and he mentioned theres a few new channels comming soon also he said hope u like movies.
so who knows maybe a movie channel or 2 plus the + channels.

I'd take whatever he said with a pinch of salt, it wouldn't be the first time a salesman lied, or mislead someone.

I think MGM HD will not be coming anytime soon as BSkyB own half of MGM's UK Channel.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
Eurosport HD would be a good and obvious choice for VM to get in HD...Yes it has things like World Champion Hool-A-Hooping on it but there loads of tennis and motorsport ect which VM can proudly say is in HD.
VM need DESPERATLEY to get as many non-Sky Sport and Movie channels in HD as they can otherwise they look like a very poor comparison.
Especially as Sky have announced their intention to have a 3D channel next year and already intend to let Pubs show 3D sport from this year!

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
How about Picturebox being free for TV XL customers? Virgin are always looking to add more HD content and a free on demand movie service would certainly be different from what SKY have to offer.

For me, Picturebox or OD is all well and good and i use it form time to time but most people want HD linear channels.
People still are very much into the habit of wanting to look at the TV Times, or in any other form of TV listings, and then tune into that channel at that time to watch that programme so linear HD is very important in that respect.

Now that is a suggestion that I would like to happen.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
I'd like to see it be a new channel launch that's exclusive to Virgin and not just the addition of channels that have been available to Sky customers for ages.
Got a feeling it will be crap like movies4men type movie channels and music channels like starz.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
Does anyone know if and when Primetime Live, the new PPV channel, will be available on Virgin Media?
I missed the first 2 bouts of the Super 6 Boxing series and wonder if it'll be in place for Froch Vs. Kessler in April.

I know it will happen over the next few days...
BBC Radio Bristol and BBC Radio Gloucester in the Bristol area of Virgin Media.

Can any viewer from Bristol give me an update?
