I have only had my service since last Thursday and as soon as it was in I sorted out my primary email address.....lets call it
123@virginmedia.com. Later I set up two further mailboxes, an extra one for myself and one for the wife.
I'm using Thunderbird 2 on a Mac which whilst not entirely problem free was set up for the new accounts(s) ok.
The problem is that if I send an email to someone using my 2nd address or the wife's address and the recipient replies the reply is sent to the primary address i.e
123@virginmedia.com. Not only that but the receiving email client also shows that the email was sent by
123@virginmedia.com and not the actual originating address.
What is going on? Has anybody got any ideas how this can be sorted?
