iPlayer - Missing shows from yesterday

Just thought I'd catch up on The Royle Family and Doctor Who....and.... they are not there. (V+ box). They are on line it seems but I really don't want to set the family around my laptop or iPod Touch.

Cheers all and Happy New Year.

Gary

Re: iPlayer - Missing shows from yesterday

Depends on your local server. Here in west herts the BBC progs were uploaded within a couple of hours of broadcast. ITV player on the other hand, nothing after about 5pm has appeared yet.

Re: iPlayer - Missing shows from yesterday

Its odd as shows post Doctor Who are available. My Family from earlier on in the week is not showing. All very odd. I may be reduced to watching Ant and Dec later....

PS I'm in Macclesfield.

Re: iPlayer - Missing shows from yesterday

Still no sign of The Royle Family or Doctor Who. Is it came over for these or will they appear when the iPlayer team go back to work tomorrow?

All a bit odd.

Hi,

I'm not in work, so can't check it out for you... I'd post on the newsgroups and they will check it for you in the morning. Could be a possible issue at the headend that serves your area.

I don't currently have access to the newgroups, could some kind person pop a note up, asking if / when folks in the SK10 area can catchup with Christmas TV :-)

Re: iPlayer - Missing shows from yesterday

Sounds like a fault at the Baguley Head End, so will be affecting a fair few then... will flag it tomorrow at some point with my colleagues in On demand (if not already being looked in to)

Re: iPlayer - Missing shows from yesterday

I think the problem may have fixed itself - we had no TV till 8am, when it came back, all seemed to be listed...
