That doesn't mean Blackened would have the same experience. It all depends on the current workload for the local techs.

I was told that that is pretty standard waiting time.

It's not standard, but just lately has not been unknown.

Re: V+ HDMI output has died.

I'm on my third Samsung V+ box in a week and rang today to report that the latest offering is still SH*& and got an appointment for the next day. (Wednesday)
As for getting a shiny new Samsung box, be prepared to be very disappointed, they are rubbish. My old SA box was much better and it at least lasted six months and not six hours.......

Re: V+ HDMI output has died.

Well, very pleasant eng called today (3 day wait was all) and fixed the signal levels, the SA box is fine and I've still got it. He did bring a Samsung in with him though and we had a little laugh about the SA hopefully failing the Medic check
He did mention some rather interesting news about V+ boxes though, but as I can't see it mentioned anywhere else I am staying schtum for now as I don't want to get anyone into bother. Perhaps the techs will know what I'm on about.

Hmm, perhaps you could tell us anyway, lol, I won't tell anyone.

Pleased you have the issue sorted though.

How would you be getting anyone into trouble?

No one knows who he is.

An engineer with a samsung in his van. That pretty much narrows it down
