You need to ensure that you plug one digi sender into the output source and then one into the input source. Depending on your tv you may have to change the setting of the AV setting. Tell us more about your other equipment

What make & model do you have?

Some makes & models don't work with SKY as they should..

Re: wireless av senders,need help

I would look to plug the digi sender into AV2 on your TV and check the AV settings in menu and configure it to output AV1. (if this is possible) If you can tell us the model of your TV then we can help more. Once this is set up you can plug back in your DVD as it was into SKY VCR socket and leave the the other Scart plugged into the TV section of your sky box and ensure that it runs to AV1 of your TV.

This way you can send DVD & Sky pictures through the digi sender.

At the the other tv / digi point, ensure that it is plugged into the input on your tele. To test first, ensure that you have nothing else plugged into to your TV upstairs. Switch the AV channel to the one you plugged the digi sender receiver into. It does not have to be the same one as downstairs. To summarise;

Downstairs TV -

SCART DVD to SKY (VCR socket) - SCART SKY (TV socket) to AV1 TV. Plug Digi sender in AV2 of TV.

Check settings for AV in TV and ensure that the output of AV2 is set to output AV1.

Upstairs TV - SCART digi sender to AV1

Re: wireless av senders,need help

There can also be interference if you have a wireless router, or there is a wireless router nearby. If so try changing to another channel on the sender and/or the router.

Good point. There should be a couple of channels to try but make sure you set both units to the same channels. Usually there is a switch on the side of the digi senders.
