Think Arsenal would be more interested in Sol as back up to be honest. We risk being left without a defense as well plus he trains with Arsenal at the moment.

Just read this on the BBC's football page:
Quote:
Michael Owen has scored four goals in the Champions League group stage. So have Liverpool.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
That's hardly surprising, given Liverpool's laughable games of late. Out of Europa League within the first 2 rounds.

Rooney has always been a diver, as any self-respecting football fan can attest. His diving is effectively what ended Arsenal's unbeaten run a few years ago, and his penalty against us this season was due to him going down well before any contact was made.
I thought English players didn't dive? I thought cheating in football was an effigy burning offence................where are all the sanctimonious, outraged football fans who castigated Thierry Henry or Eduardo?

I think at the moment they are watching their team losing one nil to Villa.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
I quite liked this bit of commentary from The Guardian
Quote:
74 min: What a miss by Berbatov. Owen slips Carrick free down the right. Carrick's cross is delightful, clipped over and dropping right on Berbatov's foot, dead centre, free, eight yards out. The £30m striker, or whatever he is, made contact with the ball, but only to stroke it with his boot. The ball continues to sail across the face of goal, and away from danger. That was useless.
