money is getting tighter by the month, and it seems that virginmedia are playing funny buggers with me again, so I am going to have to get rid of my phone (at long last).

Can someone please confirm the price of Broadband-L and TV-XL together per month.

Also please confirm if loyaly discounts have been successful on double bundles.

Given you're dropping a service it'll be interesting to see how this pans out. They usually tend to not like people who drop services and not having the phone will lose you a fair chunk of discount.

I've just done it as a brand new customer and it's 42.50 / month for 3 months going up to 47.50 - zero bundled discount so 15GBP/mth for the L HSI for 3 months then 20GBP/month and 27.50 for XL TV.

TV has only been available without a phone line for a month so doubtful anyone has dropped the phone line and taken this on.

You're probably better phoning them up and asking for a bit of renegotiation on the deal as a whole, unless you already have a fat discount in which case perhaps losing some TV channels is a better way to roll.

Assuming your 'loyalty' discount is based on three services, it is VERY unlikely you will retain that discount.

The current bundle price for BB L and TV XL, assuming DD and ebilling would be £42.50, based on the following BB L and TV L bundle:

This bundle is £31 and it's an extra £11.50 to upgrade from TV L to TV XL.
