Virgin never removed that channel, the radio channels owner did....

i'm having issues with talksport, its a constant cutting out all the time.

I live in the Redbridge area and also have the same problem. Also I note that the volumn is low compared to other radio stations.
Mind you that is a blessing when Boozil and Parry are on air.

I think all the local Global Radio Channels has been axe by Virgin TV on their Ex-Telewest network - The following is the list of Global Radio channels that was broadcast on Virgin. (Info Thanks to Wikipedia)

Aztec West - This regional head end covers Bath, Bristol, Cheltenham and Gloucester.

EPG. Channel Name
935. Heart Bristol
936. Heart Gloucestershire
937. Red Dragon FM
941. Brunel Classic Gold

Basildon - This regional head end covers Basildon, Canvey Island, Chelmsford, Crawley, Corringham, Edenbridge, Gravesend and Laindon.

EPG. Channel Name
930. Pulse FM
932. Capital Radio
933. Heart Essex -Been removed.
947. Heart Kent - Been removed.

Croydon, Haringey and Hayes - These regional head ends cover Cheam, Colliers Wood, Crawley, Croydon, Hackney, Haringey, Hayes, Hounslow, Kew, Kilburn, Kingston upon Thames, Micham, Morden, Mortlake, New Addington, New Malden, Purley, Raynes Park, Richmond upon Thames, Sutton, Thornton Heath, Tolworth, Tooting, Twickenham, Wimbledon and Worcester Park.

944. 96.4FM BRMB - Been Axes.

Media Boy need YOU to go to Virgin Channel 930 (up to Virgin Channel 941) and see if your local Radio Channels on Virgin is still broadcasting or showing an on screen saying ''This Radio Station is no longer broadcasting on Digital TV platforms in the UK''.

Then post on this thread an list of channels that Virgin has closedown.

The E4 web site says E4 HD will only be broadcasting (From Launch) on Sky HD.

I have tonight been told that Gold (Channel 941) was remove last week.

I think I can now say Global Radio Local Radio has been axe from Virgin Media.

Don't assume that these radio stations are gone for ever. VM may have good reasons for axing them at the moment.

probally to make them nationally ratehr than region spefic
it seems the region spefic channels are goign to 937-939 for any local bbc radio channels but all other will go national if not now probally later on
