You seem to think that for some reason you should have actually won a match were you never scored, regardless of any other issue about how Chelsea managed to score their goal.
Unless you actually scored 2 goals then you had no chance of winning.

I don't. I simply commented that we did enough to have deserved something from it, and had we done, would have gone top. It was in reply to someone saying we are a spent force that offer nothing. If that's what you took it to mean, then you misunderstood it.
I will have to remember this next time some sports pundit says a team deserved something from the game.
On an earlier post, it was mentioned that Barcelona battered us in the ECL, and so if we had grabbed a couple of late goals from contentious decisions, we would have scored more, would have deserved to win and Barcelona wouldn't? Maybe it is just me, I think you're wrong.

I know every football fan always says we should have if only we had...............
But we know for fans that is the nature of the game and why so many people follow and love it.

With modern Footballers you will notice, with any serious injury, they tend not to move, which makes sense, why aggravate something. So the more they writhe in agony, for the most part, the more they are trying to en-flame the situation and get the Ref reaching to his pocket.

Did the clown force the thug's right boot into his chest? Otherwise, why are you ranting about the clown instead of focusing on the real issue?
The obsession with diving and play acting in the English game is ridiculous. I'd rather have a clown in my team than a thug, any day.

Do you honestly think that someones foot hitting you in the chest with that kind of force would actually tickle, remove the blinkers it may be Drogba but that is still going to sting to put it mildly.

I see too much of a pause between studs-on-chest and Dogbreath's dramatic pose. The man knows how to dive.

Dive? You don't need to dive when somebody's leg is flying in the air at you, especially when you're already in mid-air yourself.

Not going by that video and we do all know he is a diver and of course will always end up looking like the boy who cried wolf.
I rather think anyone hit in that way would go down like a bag of do doo, but being him it cause automatic disbelief.

Do you not see a pause between the contact and his dramatic pose?

Indeed.
Drogba is a diver, a clown, whatever, we all know that. But that's irrelevant. This was a blatant, calculated attack by Evans. No player deserves that, even Drogba. And for all Drogba is i don't recall him ever making a violent or bad challenge like this on another player.

Of course there's a slight pause, like any player's reaction. Watch it real time; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXpPZ1RsP3Y
Why is it Drogba this, Drogba that? Watch Evans instead of obsessing with Drogba's reaction. He's a disgrace.
The most disgusting thing about this is the distinct lack of reaction from the British press. Had this been the other way round, i'd bet my right arm this would top news for weeks on end. As it is, not only is Evans given a pass by the press, but the FA probably won't do anything either.

You do realise that it all happens in a split second and the first thing most people do is react as he did.
Being a wrestler you have been kicked in the chest and I expect it knocks you down.
I think for once he was genuine but will never been seen as such because of who is and his reputation for diving.
If the boot had hit him in the face would it still be seen as a dive or are you just viewing this as a disgruntled fan because you lost.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
I've seen it in real time. Dogbreath's body doesn't react in the way I'd expect it would from a kick to the chest.
It's the boy who cried wolf thing. Maybe if he wasn't such a prolific cheater and diver the press would have more sympathy for him.

Even if it was a dive it was Evans fault for giving him the perfect opportunity to dive, but I still feel that this was the one time he did not dive.
The outcome is down to your own teams player with a ridiculously high challenge.

How you think his body should react or not doesn't come in to it. He was blatantly kicked in the chest for no good reason, unless you're denying this, his reaction is entirely irrelevant!
Watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuJ-YNZtEZ0
Just boy who cried wolf i guess.

I did! He should have got a Red for intent, is that better? As Russ is saying, he hardly touches him, the reaction is a disgrace.
I thought he was in genuine stress, that he had maybe hit his head on the floor, to be shaking about on the floor like he did was low and pathetic, hence he is a Clown.
---------- Post added at 20:33 ---------- Previous post was at 20:25 ----------
I will even go so far as to say, this IS why they should punish retrospect in Football, never mind if the Ref doesn't report it, nothing you can do. So if you Murder and don't get caught you deserve to get away with it?
And I had no issue with Drogba to that point, fine player, big diver, big deal, like it or loath it it's part of football. His reaction made me give a crap for his well being and it was fake, that is why I said he is a Clown, got no time for the bloke now.
