No, sometimes when you enter a new division, fights are made knowing you should win just to give you a feel of things. I was wanting to know if that was the case, nevertherless thank you for your reply.

His first fight was pretty easy but his second was against Monte Barrett and he isn't a walkover. Haye doesn't like to box to win he likes to put on a show for the fans and this is what he'll do tonight.

Re: David and Goliath
Valuev is one of the worst 'champions' i have seen box, he was very poor. Haye deserved it.

Haye Vs Ruis Fight Almost Confirmed As WBA promised Ruis hit title shot after missing out on Valuev
Ruis is 36 and alot smaller than Valuev... But i bet he wishes Valuev had won because Now he has to face the Guy that Nearly KO'd him...

Re: David and Goliath
How poor is the heavyweight division when two fighters such as Haye and Valuev are fighting for a "Heavyweight Champion of the World" title!!
Fair play to David Haye, i didn`t give him much chance against that giant of a bloke, who was absolutely terrible, shocking, rubbish!
Haye won by being a bit better than someone who is average at best!
Looking back to when there were some real heavyweights, Foreman, Ali, Frasier, Tyson, etc, these guys wouldn`t last five minutes in the ring. If Bruno was around today he`d probably be undisputed champ
Still good luck to Haye if he ends up fighting one of the russians.

I believe you have it the wrong way round.. Like I've Said to many people. David Haye is a Combination of Raw speed and power.
Tyson is comparable to No-one.. No matter how 'good' he was the man was a living disgrace to the sport, There were many of times he was on the verge of going down to a less popular Opponent and he Hit a cheap shot! nevermind the bite incident
This may sound outrageous but David Haye Is Close if not better than Ali..
Ali would have done the same as Haye last night.
Ali was fast and powerful but haye is just the AlphaMale now.. He is Top Notch talent spread around now that the concern of him not being able to run a full 12 rounder has left us
Haye Went to Germany and Won..
Mark my word.. If haye ever takes on Valuev again.. Its a KO now that he knows he's not as big as everyone made out.
He will KO Ruis.. He Will take out the Russian Mafia wannabe's and reign as Undisputed Champion
What you have now people is a Phenom Of Boxing...

The only way to win that fight was by doing what David Haye done for 12 rounds, he could have taken the chance of looking for a KO but there's no points taking risks for your first title. Now he has the title he can negotiate a better deal with the klitchkos than was previously done.
