Linksys modem keeps dropping connection!?

I have a Linksys wireless modem (WAG325N) and it keeps losing the connection to the internet every 3 hours or so which means i have to restart it (unplug then plug it in again) for me to get the connection back. Ive updated the firmware, changed the password and even gave it a hard reset. I still get the connection drop HOWEVER when it does drop, the dsl light stays on and also the devices that are connected by ethernet are still connected to the net :S so im wondering if this is a wireless issue?? The only devices that are connected wirelessly are the PC and the iPhone. Anyone got any suggestions?

Re: Linksys modem keeps dropping connection!?

So what is actually dropping the connection - the wireless side or the ADSL side?

If it is just the wireless side try selecting an alternative channel, maybe there is a clash with a neighbour's rouoter?

I have also a separate light for the Internet and DSL, and was getting the internet light drop every couple of minutes and the DSL Light stay solid. Have you tried upgrading your routers firmware?

Yeah i upgraded the formware before. I changed the channel and it seemed to be working it stayed on for a long time but now THIS TIME the connection to the internet went i.e mozilla stopped working...it kept saying server not availabe (this was for both the pc and iphone which are connected wirelessly) BUT msn was still working as in I was sending messages and getting replies :S
