Has anyone actually ever been done as a single user after being grassed up ?
I am pleased about Nagra 3 and will be even more pleased once all the modems have been hit as I have said before

I think you will find that information is classified and if someone tells you they will then have to kill you

Well he's bound to blab his mouth off that he's been caught, he's just that type, tells you everything whats going on in his life.
I'll act shocked & surprised but will secretly gloat

Re: Virgin media possibly getting serious on dodgy boxes?
I suspect that VM will let the dodgy boxes run for the time being, save the money it would cost to go after these freeloaders, knowing that it is just a matter of time before there are a lot more doorstops in the country.

Re: Virgin media possibly getting serious on dodgy boxes?
did they ever do anything else? I asked earlier if any single user had ever been done for using a dodgy box who had been grassed up this way?

Re: Virgin media possibly getting serious on dodgy boxes?
I was talking to my hairdresser yesterday and apparently there's a guy who sells these boxes from a van in a local pub car park. He's been making a bit of a nuisance of himself of late approaching pub customers saying that he has got too much stock and wants to make a bit of space in his garage so will do you a favour and let you have a box for a £20.

Not sure of that, but I've seen instances in the past where a customer has had a dodgy box taken away by a fault tech after an unrelated fault for another service

Re: Virgin media possibly getting serious on dodgy boxes?
That I don't know. If they were charged it was probably off bill but as they phoned up and added another paid box VM may have decided not to - as they were now getting the extra revenue
