why do customer sales not tell the full story

I am an existing customer, been with VM since 1998..last week upgraded to XL BB and XL TV .. was said 48 pounds a month by sales person.. not bad I thought ... got my welcome letter (not sure why as I am a existing customer) and on it it says Xl TV 13 pounds for first 3 months and then 23 pounds per month

errmmm..not been told this at the point of sale, am sure it breaks some Sales of Goods Act not telling me this 3 month special deal

anyway going to phone up and complain

and on top of this, my XL BB has been terrible, only getting 5-6 MB speeds (where as on my L BB used to get good 9 MB speed) however credit where credit is due, VM did give me a 12 pounds discount for this speed - and also its a fault as confirmed by VM Network Team)

I would suspect it is because you have been ripped into a new 12 month contract, also without your knowledge.

Still if that is the case then, as a "new" customer, you should also have the 28 day get out of jail free option if you care to use it.

yes your correct, the letter I got did say I can change my mind within 28 days so will see if my BB issue is fixed if not going back to my BB L package and TV M package
