Yeah, that's the most annoying thing about it; it did work. Does anyone know where I can get up-to-date Win7 drivers for the afore-mentioned PCI card? I know I've seen mentioned on another forum that you might be able to use Netgear drivers. I can always use a USB stick to transfer the drivers from here to the Win7 PC.

Oh, another thing: when the wireless network list on Win7 said I was connected, I went on to the router's status page; it only had this computer in the DHCP client list.

Okay, I think I've cracked it. Well, I think Zing's cracked it. There was an optional update which was for my wireless card. Installed it and I can now access the internet via wireless. If it stays like that, I'll come on here and post again. Fingers crossed!

Right guys, I am now posting from Windows 7 which is a relief as I'm not a big Mac fan. Love Windows 7; it's properly fast! From login screen to ready to use in less than 5 seconds. The down-side is that I won't be able to go and make a brew while the computer is booting up. Ahh well!

Anyway, thanks for your help guys (especially Zing for leading me on to the right answer.) Mucho appreciato!
