Re: Formula 1 2009 Season [may contain real time spoilers]
The FIA could be in trouble here because it's been discovered they have been lobbying for Todt.
Quote:
The newspaper has published excerpts of leaked emails showing that FIA director general Peter Doggwiler, and FIA Foundation director general David Ward, have been actively lobbying on the Frenchman's behalf.
One email from Doggwiler is to key sympathisers, advising them "I will call you this week to see where we are so I can make an adequate report to Jean."
An email from Ward reveals he has had conversations "regarding a more intensive lobbying strategy", and indicates his involvement in the formation of Todt's cabinet, while another includes an attachment of Todt's campaign announcement, seeking amendments to the text.

I wonder how many people are collecting their thoughts about the way they voted on this thread; I certainly am.
Vettel and Webber go no votes at all and Barrichello and Button only got three, Hamilton got fifteen.

I voted Kubica as I think that he has great possibilities, it'll be interesting with him in a new team next year..
The voting though could not take into account the diffuser situation

I voted for Button before the first race. It looks like he's going to wait until the last race to prove my faith in him though.

I went with Rosberg, I was pinning my hope on Williams stealing a march with their mechanical flywheel KERS being simpler and more reliable than the battery systems.
How wrong was I ................................................
All else beign equal Nico has had a pretty good run I think.

Re: Formula 1 2009 Season [may contain real time spoilers]
I went with Barrichello, but a part of me wants Button to win so that England has 2 consecutive world championships at last. The last time Brits were really successful, it was the 1960s. '62 G. Hill, '63 J. Clark, '64 J. Surtees, '65 J. Clark.
