My Space Template / Design

Hi

A friend asked me to help her with her MySpace page, I thought it would be HTML code & edit a Header box would alow me to simple add a Image/Link to Top of page & edit Background colour easy.... (not so)

Like http://www.myspace.com/palo***aith looks nice. Simple Graphic & easy to follow.

Any free sites that gives a clear Step by Step (guide (or generator)? Say I want to add Top Header picture (or pictures)

But does NOT say where to add it. Tried CSS box & About Me & both failed.

Only need code for Top Image & link to a site. Not a full Theme as such

I have a Image at the TOP of my Page & want to add Buttons under it (like to FaceBook, Twitter & others) just like http://www.myspace.com/katieprice this profile has....

Can anyone give me some idea how to add Image Buttons & Links to the area I want??
