Another vintage performance from donkey, managing to do everything but score.

So did City when they equalized, just glad they can't defend to save their lives. If it was 3-3 nobody would say anything, they loose........oh my God is Hughes going to complain about it. Just hope they remember we where 3-2 when Extra time was announced, benefited City NOT UTD, I am sure that is the way everyone will see it, not.

Yes, he played very well once more, unlucky not to score.

I think they scored before extra time, but people need to remember, City had the extra time to score the winner as we did, they just decided to put 11 behind the ball whereas we went on the attack

Man City scored in normal time, 88th/89th min.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
Mark Hughes isn't in a position to complain about the usual magical OT injury time. He was more than happy with it when he was a Man United player, same with Tevez. Now he's on the receiving end, it's wrong? Get over it.
I strangley wanted Man United to win, and i think i even cracked a smile when Owen scored the winner. I feel very dirty.

And just think how much of a benefit he'd have been to the team today if had the ability to hit the net.
Would be so much better if he was replaced with a striker who had a good scoring track record.

It was four mins when they scored, they spent three celebrating, I think that is where it came from. Ferguson is hammering them "You can't do anything about a noisy neighbour" brilliant.

Nah I wanted them to win. City have been getting far to cocky which is irksome when you consider they are in their current position because of a massive check!

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
I didn't watch the game, bit heard about it on the radio. Were there that many stoppages to justify the extra time?

Thats a very good point actually. They scored on the 90th minute, spent about a minute celebrating which was in extra time, then there was a sub in extra time, which adds 30 seconds extra, Owen scores 1:28 seconds after extra time should be over. Whats the problem?

From what I can gather it was 4 mins of extra time, they scored on 90 and wasted 3 mins celebrating. I dunno for sure, I slammed my radio down when they scored and broke it, so had to go get another one, so I missed what they did.

I don't think it was 3 minutes of celebration. As much as I wanted City to lose they were unlucky with the cheer amount of added time.

Maybe a couple celebrating and 30s for the sub. Point being they haven't been jipped, but everyone will pap on about it as usual. End of the day they could have won 4-3. God Hughes is a moaning sod, he said the celebration was 60s + 30s for a sub + 4mins of stoppage, so Owens goal was within time and it left another 90s for City to get a fourth. He needs to grow up.
Oh and Bellamy has pushed a fan in the face, but Hughes didn't see that, LOL, guy is priceless.

Well Managers defend their players, fair enough. I hope he speaks to Bellamy (who had another great game otherwise) and has spoken to Adebayor (although Abe mouthing off to the press about he regrets nothing tells me otherwise).
Man City are ridding high and spent a lot and some of their fans and Hughes himself are getting carried away. They feel cheated with the forums accusing the Ref and United of being corrupt and they paid off the Ref (I guess City think that money == success nowadays)
