I have just found this over on DS Forums.

Next week's TV and Satellite Week published today has Living HD listed in its schedules from Saturday but only for Virgin (as channel 110).

Wow! Sixteen hours after your announcement and no sign of the HD cheerleaders.

Maybe there aren't many Living viewers interested in HD. It's not a channel I watch but I do find it a strange name for a channel with programming that mainly seems dedicated to Ghosts, seances, afterlife and other distinctly non-living subject matter.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2009)
Living is quite a decent channel with some decent US imports. Although Saturday seems a very strange day to launch a channel.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2009)
I think the DS user who posted that was taking it a bit too literally. It may well launch a day or two before, considering TV & Satellite Week starts its listings on a saturday.

That was certainly the case with FX HD, Nat Geo HD and MTVNHD, with C4HD on the Friday.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2009)
Those channels already existed... Living HD is brand new so could launch any day.
iirc C5 started on a Sunday & 4 was a Tuesday.

Hey, you forgot to mention that there's always a good autopsy in CSI: too!
If they rearranged some of the programming between Living and Living2 they could rename one of them as AfterLiving.
Alternatively they could rename Living, Living+1 and Living+2 as Antemortem, Perimortem and Postmortem.

But it's a Virgin channel, so they're likely to launch it on a day they normally add channels.

In the Chuck 3D thread.
Basically, the episode itself was excellent, the 3D elements weren't amazing but there were a few cool moments. Didn't add a great deal to the experience.

I had never watched the programme before but took a quick preview by watching a series one episode on TV Choice On Demand in advance of the 3D airing. I'm not in a hurry to watch it again but I agree with your comments on the 3D aspect of it. Good, with a few scenes that worked really well but not spectacular overall. Still, a taste of what's 'coming soon' perhaps.
There's a Chuck 3D thread? I couldn't find one using the forum search facility and '3D' is too small a keyword to search with. I did find the Chuck thread but that hasn't had any activity since May.
