Hoping some one will be able to help on this long running issue with my cordless phone system consisting of 3 handsets and a base unit.

Two of the three handsets have not been working. You can neither get a dial tone nor or you able to pick up an incoming call (although they both ring when a call comes in it is a slightly different ring). Both handsets that have the issue also show a kind of symbol a bit like this: Y? in the top right corner of the screen.

The handset(s) have had this probelm before, I simply fixed it by taking out the batteries for 24 hours or so but this time it doesn't fix the problem. I am now left with only one working phone out of three.

Any body have any ideas. The user manual (which I have now lost) doesn't have any solutions for this problem.

Thank you.

James
