Teletext to shut down in 2010.
Teletext will cease all transmissions - analogue and digital - of its main text services including those on ITV, Channel 4 and Five in January 2010.

Setanta Sports UK fall out: Scotland game to be shown on BBC Two on August 12th.
Football web site ''Live football on TV'' say BBC has win the rights to show Norway VS Scotland on August 12th.
Sky and ESPN was rumoured to be biding for the rights as well.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2009)
I have no news on ESPN but Virgin's web site has given them an EPG Channel.
I think the hold up is over costs for ''us'' viewers.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2009)
Is Virgin Media set to broadcast this years Edinburgh Festival?
I have been told today that the Edinburgh Festival is testing offline right now in an Ex-Telewest area in Scotland and Virgin has even given it an EPG Channel number.
The EPG Channel is 450.

They were never going to get Sky HD. It amazes me how many people seemed to think they would/will any time soon.

I have just found this on Sky Sports.com

... or 3. That'll be Sky Sports' choice at the time of each match. I don't think their Extra or Interactive (not available on VM) feeds do HD yet, but they could change that.
