Hold down your finger over an app till the screen goes all wobbly then press the x in the top corner and it'll go bye-bye from the phone.

Just found out - don't ya just love these phones
You also need to remove it from itunes otherwise it will reinstall it again apparently.

THats not true, I have loads of apps in iTunes and they don't snyc back to the phone.
Although it could be a setting I have change so I have to manually sync apps.

Yes i found this out myself when i logged into itunes, none of my apps show on there at all. So it must be a setting
btw, I've found a great app - the music sleep timer - its just the thing for dozing off listening to a little morcheeba on the ipod
