Re: 50Mb areas

I know no one knows when areas will be upgraded to 50MB etc.. but is there a definitive list anywhere that shows what areas have been upgraded, and what areas have still to be upgraded?

Re: 50Mb areas

Hitchin has its own hubsite. It is fed from the Luton headend but will be upgraded separately.

Cheers Spiderplant... should really have searched first.. schoolboy error.

Very annoying to learn that surrounding area's of glasgow (kirkintilloch, bishopbriggs) have been done, and the city centre hasn't.. ho hum... I'll keep my eye on this thread.

Re: 50Mb areas

Really surprised they've not done Burnley yet. We used to always be included very early in rollouts under C&W.

We also had a major outage lasting over 24 hours which I thought was the upgrade

Re: 50Mb areas

I'm more shocked to see it's taken this long to do swindon (since they were reported to have the highest broadband takeup in the country).

I didn't know anyone still lived in Ware now that GSK have gone.

Still it's looking good, can't be much more than two months left at this rate.

Awaiting Upgrade

Re: 50Mb areas

You would be surprised, they have done everything around Portsmouth, but not Portsmouth itself!
