Valkyrie - 8/10 Manages to somehow keep the suspense even though you know the outcome from the start. Tom Cruise is well.. Tom Cruise but he carries off the part quite well.

Death Race - 7/10; good fun Saturday night with a bottle of Shiraz movie.
I like to think of it as The Shawshank Redemption with heavily armoured and weaponed cars

The new Star Trek Movie - 2/10 (and the 2 points were for releasing a movie with Star Trek in the title)
It's Star Wreck, or Dawson's Trek, but it's not a trek film.

It's the best Trek film ever released. 15/10
Finally they've beaten the curse of the odd numbers!

Angels and Demons 5/10 - What went wrong? In my opinion the book of A&D was much better than Davinci Code. The movie unfortunately is not. I think that is probably because they barely followed the book at all and took far too many liberties with the story.

I am going to see Angels and Demons today and will be interested to see how it compares to the book as well.

Star Trek, it had a 9/10 rating for me. The only thing that let it down was Simon Pegg as Scotty i thought it was horrendous.

I will give Angels and Demons 8/10 as they drifted away from the book but I know it was for editing purposes.

re: Rate the last movie you saw
Resident Evil 1, 2, 3 - Hmm... 6/10 each perhaps. Although I enjoyed 2 & 3 more 'cos of Alice kicking ass.
Hellboy 2 - 8.5/10
Star Trek II: The Wrath of KHAAAAAAAN! - 9/10
Star Trek III: The Search for Spock - 7/10
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home - 8/10
Ricardo Montalban's Khan is still the undisputed Best Trek Villain IMO.

For the shockingly bad one where they save the whales, had you been drinking when you gave it that score
