Parental Controls

Can someone please tell me if it is possible to switch off the parental controls completely. If it is, please tell me how. Being over 60 it is not a service I need, and it is most annoying when just surfing the movie channels to have to put the pin number in everytime. The other day I had to use it to watch Bing Crosby for heaven's sake.

Re: Parental Controls

Not 100% sure but if you click settings on the remote you can then press 1 to access the parental controls, if you then select clear it should work.

Do this in "Settings" for 1, 2 and 3 in this menu, Parental, Change pin, and locked channels.

Hope this helps.

Re: Parental Controls

You can't switch off parental settings totally,as they are enforced by OfCom.
However to set the parental settings,to the minimum, set it to STANDARD by

Settings
1.Parental Control Settings(will require PIN)
2.Rated programmes
3.Change to standard if not already set to standard using the left/right arrow keys
4.Press OK to save settings.

To make sure that no channels are accidently locked:
Settings
3.Locked channels,will ask for PIN
Check that the channels you don't want locked are not in the locked section(right side list)
To unlock any channels pressing OK,will unlock them.
