Help with Belkin wireless router and multiple xboxs
Hi. This is my first post here.
I have virgin broadband and a Belkin wireless g router. I have a PC wired to the router and 1 xbox 360. I also have another xbox 360 which connects wireless. Here's my problem.
When I try to connect both 360's to xbox live they wont work only one will work. How do i get both of them to connect at the same time.
Cheers

 1st of all
I dont think it is possible to have 2 xbox live's running on the same internet connection. there is 1 thing that you can try and that is to look if you can change the ports for live for the other xbox something perhaps in settings?

Re: Help with Belkin wireless router and multiple xboxs
I'm pretty sure two 360's CAN run on 1 connection through a Belkin, at least on SKY BB they can, so I can't see why VM BB would be different? I configured a neighbours 360's for wireless using a Mimo G+ and both can play on LIVE at the same time with their SKY BB connection.

Plug them all in and port forward ports: UDP 88, UDP 3074 ,TCP 3074 to each Xbox.

When you try to connect on the second xbox and run the network troubleshooter what does it say the problem is?

Re: Help with Belkin wireless router and multiple xboxs
it says that it can't reach the live network a router or firewall gettin my be proventin it from conecting, we got a belkin router hooked up to one 360 and two pcs and the 4th cord is goin to my room where it's hooked into a linksys roughter (but instead of plugin it into the internet port it's pluged into the number 1 port) then my pc and laptop and 360 pluged into the 2,3,& 4 ports. i can get on but when the one hooked to the first router signs on it kicks mine off if i go down and reset the router downstairs then they will both go on. i tried settin the ports to the 192.168.1.3 (the 360) and tryed settin it to 192.168.1.2 (my linksys) what u's think? lol the linksys router is bypassed set as a hub now

Re: Help with Belkin wireless router and multiple xboxs
My inital guess would be that the Linksys is causing the problem somehow. Can you try plugging both 360s into the Belkin and see if you can log on OK on both at the same time? I know it may be tricky with just one TV but it will help narrow down the problem. Leave both Xboxes on automatic settings i.e. don't manually set the IP addresses when you try this.
You say the Linksys is being used as a hub. Can you check that DHCP server is turned off on the Linksys? If it's turned on then it could cause problems.
Also, and I know this may sound silly, but can you double check that your modem is connected to the WAN port on your Belkin and not in to one of the LAN ports.

Re: Help with Belkin wireless router and multiple xboxs
Just to clarify, your cable modem is plugged in to your Belkin, right?
It will probably be easier to test if you unplug the long cable from your Linksys and just plug it in to your xbox, assuming it will reach!
